Admission Requirements

Applicants must submit the documents required for admission to the Master of Science in Nursing  and the Master of Business Administration in Leadership  for more details:

Admission Requirements:

1. BSN from an accredited institution.
2. Active unrestricted, unencumbered RN license in the US.
3. One (1) year of exerience working as a RN.
4. Cumulative GPA 3.0.
5. Submission of all official transcripts.
6. Must have statistics as an undergrad with a B or better and courses must be current.
   *Students may apply without having met this requirement, however, any acceptance offered to such a student will be conditional upon completion of the appropriate preparatory courses with a B or better.
7. Submission of a current Resume or CV.
8. 3 references- from a peer, a supervisor and prior faculty.
9. TOEFL if needed.
10. Essay: 750-words: The essay sythesizes the applicant’s reflections on their personal beliefs and life experiences and why they believe that the MSN/MBA program suits their values, ethic, professional goals, and aspirations. The essay must address:
    1. What do you hope to accomplish from your studies in the MSN/MBA program?
    2. Who are you as a person? Who do you aspire to become?

Note:  Applicants who have had license sanctions must be without restrictions during the two years prior to Saint Joseph’s application.
