Fast Track to Master of Health Administration

The Fast Track program allows students in specific Saint Joseph’s College undergraduate health administration programs to substitute certain courses from the Master of Health Administration (MHA) program in lieu of comparable undergraduate courses. Students will then be allowed to count these graduate courses toward their graduate degree requirements. Restrictions apply. The undergraduate programs that qualify for this accelerated option are the following:

  • Bachelor of Science – Health Administration Major (up to 12 credits)
  • Bachelor of Science - Long-Term Care Administration Major (up to 12 credits)
  • Bachelor of Science - Radiologic Science Administration Major (up to 9 credits)
  • Bachelor of Science - Health Information Management Major (up to 12 credits)

Additional Notes

Students interested in taking advantage of the Fast Track option should contact their Academic Advisors.

Once accepted, students may take a maximum of 12 and a minimum of 3 graduate level credits prior to completion of the Bachelor’s Degree.

For graduate level courses, students will pay the graduate tuition rate effective at the time of enrollment.

Students must earn a minimum of 3.0 grade point average in Fast Track graduate courses in order to progress to the MHA degree following completion of the Bachelor’s Degree.

Students who earn 120 credits may earn a bachelors degree and are not required to continue in the MHA program.  Inactive students, once readmitted, are subject to any new program guidelines instituted in their absence.

Graduation

The HA courses will simply substitute for undergraduate courses, so students will graduate with a BS when completing all requirements. They will then transfer into the HA with some courses already taken.
