SL 410 - Risk Management in Senior Living


Older Americans are prone to many risks, and the effective Senior Living Leader must be prepared to minimize those risks while maximizing quality of life and honoring independence.  This course will prepare the student to be a risk management leader in the areas of disaster preparedness, insurance coverage, legal considerations, regulatory compliance, conflict resolution, and environmental safety.  

Prerequisites & Notes
All required core courses and specialization requirements must be completed before enrolling in this course, unless specifically approved by the Program Manager or Program Director.

Course Learning Objectives
