This degree is an initial degree for students who desire to enter the field of health administration. Students with this degree can gain entry level employment in hospitals, physicians’ offices, long-term care and other health facilities. This A.S. Degree was designed so students who complete it can easily complete the B.S. in Health Administration at Saint Joseph’s College.

Program Outcomes:

Graduates will leave the program having met the following outcomes:

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills required for effective management of health services in entry level positions.
• Demonstrate appropriate standards of ethics and professional conduct.
• Develop entry-level leadership competencies.
• Develop critical thinking, analysis skills and oral and written communication skills.
