The Bachelor of Science, Interdisciplinary Studies (BS, IDS) degree program is designed to provide students with opportunities to study within and across academic disciplines, as well as offer enriching and integrated learning experiences. The experiences and insights gained in Interdisciplinary Studies may assist students to further a number of their personal, professional, and academic goals. Students who would like to pursue the BS, IDS must have at least 42 or more credits available in minor subject areas at SJC, above and beyond General Education requirements. *Students who do not meet this requirement can complete one minor and the two required IDS courses.* Requirements for completing the degree program are described below.

IDS, IT MInor
Compliment your degree with a Minor in Information Technology.
The online Minor in Information Technology at St. Joseph’s College provides students with the basic skills and knowledge necessary to effectively develop and implement information technology solutions for a number of industries including: business, healthcare, government, education, and more. Student that complete the IT minor will be prepared to work in many IT roles such as I.T. Developers, Web Developers, Information and Computer Security Analysts, Computer Network Administrators, and Database Administrators. Throughout the minor, students will have many opportunities to earn several industry leading IT certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, and (ISC) 2. Students will also be exposed to emerging technologies, best practices and learn from our expert faculty that all have several years of hands-on experience and are leaders in their fields.
