TH 626 - Introduction to Theological Reflection

Theological Reflection is a practice of applying honest reflection, critical reasoning, and personal decisions as one reflects on experiences of ministry and its relationship to the minister. As Jesus applied reasoning to his questions, students will be asked to use the skills learned in theological reflection and apply these skills to reading the Gospel parables and personal expository writings of faith. Students will explore what difference does learning theology make in the modern world and why having a reflective life engages the soul. Students may also gain a better understanding of how to discern God’s presence in the world.
