Saint Joseph’s College understands the unique challenges of learning online, so we have developed an effective and comprehensive student support system, specifically to help our online learners navigate their academic experience.
Our team is comprised of a dedicated group of professionals who assist online learners throughout their studies- from initial inquiry and application to receipt of transcripts, selection of courses, accessing all platforms necessary for course content and assignment submission, and graduation. Upon application, an Online Admissions Counselor is assigned to each student to help them through each step of the application process. After enrolling, a Student Support Specialist is assigned to each online learner to guide them through their experience to achieve their unique academic goals. They advise on course selection and program requirements, give direction on administrative policies and procedures, and offer proactive motivational support as needed. These full-time professional Student Support Specialists work closely with online students, often in collaboration with program directors and faculty, to ensure online learners are accessing all available resources needed for success.
Students are encouraged to be in frequent communication with their Student Support Specialist to inquire about their program status, register for courses, or discuss any concerns about their progress. The Online Student Support team can be reached by calling 800-343-5498 or 207-893-7800 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
