Summer Tuition and Fees


Fees and Refunds

  • Registration Fee - One credit hour of tuition, per course or payment in full
  • Summer Administrative Fee - $20 per course (must be paid at time of registration; non-refundable unless we cancel course)

TH 527:  Special Topics:  IFES Economy of Desire (Granada, Spain - International Conference) - $400 for 3 graduate credits, which does not include fee to attend conference.

  • Drop Off Saturdays:  Leaves SJC at 4:00am, 7:00am and 10:00am

Withdrawal/Refund Policy

The College anticipates that enrolled students will complete the couses in which they are enrolled.  Should it be necessary to withdraw from an online course, students must make their requirests in writing to their advisor.  The Treasurer will determne the amount of refund according to the following schedule for tuition (but not for special fees or room and board) based on te number and type of courses the student was enrolled in.

Online Course Refund:  
Withdrawal prior to official start date 100% of tuition, if paid in full
Withdrawal within 1-5 days of official course start date 75% of tuition, if paid in full
Withdrawal within 6-10 days of offical course start date 50% of tuition, if paid in full
Withdrawal within 11-15 days of officlal course start date 25% of tuition, if paid in full
Withdrawal after 16 days of official course start date No refund
Any student dismissed from the College for infraction of College regulations will not be granted a refund of tuition.

Financial aid recipients who choose to withdraw or must withdraw from the College are subject to federal refund regulations as well as the tuition refund policy.  A student is generally able to keep aid that has been earned based on the length of time the student has been enrolled during the period of education.  The refund calculation is performed within 30 days of the date the official withdrawal form is received by the Office of Financial Aid.  for more information, contact the Office of Financial Aid at 800-752-1266 or 207-893-6612.

Cancellation Dates

  • Courses will be reviewed on April 30, 2019 to determine if course will be canceled.  If a course is canceled, those enrolled wil be refunded the full amount paid including the administration fee.
  • We encourage anyone interested in taking a summer course to enroll by April 30, 2019, as well as, waiting to book flight until after April 30, 2019.  If you choose to book your flight when you enroll, we recommend purchasing the travel insurance.
  • If course is not cancelled for low enrollment, registration will remain open until June 16, 2019.
