Course Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, learners should be able to:

  • Identify the tri-part structures of the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible), the significant books which comprise them, and the major theological themes that each part promotes.
  • Summarize the basic narrative history of the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible).
  • Analyze significant passages and books of the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) in light of their original, historical contexts.
  • Demonstrate the application of various Old Testament passages to the New Testament and/or modern-day contexts.
