Master of Business Administration in Technology Management and Business Intelligence

The Master of Business Administration Concentration in Technology Management and Business Intelligence is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for effective organizational leadership. Core courses cover business management, policy, and systems. Upon completing the concentration courses in the MBA Concentration in Technology Management and Business Intelligence program, students will be well-prepared to take on leadership roles within various business settings such as retail, manufacturing, healthcare, non-profits, and information technology just to name a few.

Program Outcomes:

Graduates will leave the program having met the following outcomes:

  • Integrate business development and entrepreneurial/intrapreneurship with knowledge from management and leadership into decision-making.
  • Use leadership skills to promote quality, ethical standards, and safety.
  • Demonstrates the ability to initiate, organize, and manage safe, effective business practices throughout the life cycle based on accepted principles and standards of business administration, reflects quality outcomes, sustainability, growth, marketshare, and is culturally competent.
  • Act responsibly as an advocate, collaborator, leader, and business manager.
  • Use critical thinking and entrepreneurial management to solve problems in business development.

Admissions Requirement(s):

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
  • Official transcripts from all regionally accredited educational institutions attended by the student
  • Resume
  • 750 to 1,000 word-essay which outlines the following:
    • Describe your purpose for pursuing an MBA in Technology Management and Business Intelligence.
    • Describe the skills and competencies you hope to attain with this degree.
    • Outline your personal and professional goals for the next 3-5 years.
    • Discuss how you believe this degree will help you attain your goals.
