This online graduate program allows RNs with bachelor’s degrees in nursing to earn both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Health Administration. Both degrees are awarded at the same time with the completion of all requirements. This 60-credit dual degree appeals to and benefits nurses who are, or plan to be, in a leadership position such as manager, director of nursing, Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), or hospital administrator. Curriculum in the MHA also provides the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare leaders to address the issues of access, quality and cost of health care services that face this nation.
Note: Students who have already completed their MSHA or MHA with SJC are not eligible for admittance into the MSN/MHA dual degree program.
