Communications B.S.

The Communications major takes an interdisciplinary approach to providing students with an inclusive perspective on current, trending and emerging topics in the professional communications field.

Completing this degree program will provide students with:

  • Knowledge and understanding of contemporary communications theories, practices and trends.
  • Insight into the socio-economic impact of social, institutional and corporate media on U.S. society.
  • Opportunities to author, edit, assess and publish original content.
  • Career and graduate school preparation.

 

Core Curriculum:


In addition, all students must fulfill the college’s core curriculum  requirements and meet the 128 credit graduation requirement.  The First Year Experience (FYE) Seminar  is a requirement for all first-year students.
