Pre-Physician Assistant B.S.

The Pre-Physician Assistant major is designed for students pursuing a graduate physician assistant’s program.  It is recommended that students work closely with their faculty advisor regarding specific requirements for graduate admissions to the school of their choice.

Completing this degree program will provide students with:

  • Scientific Literacy: To familiarize students with major scientific areas and techniques
  • Experimental Design: To frame an experiment and analyze results
  • Effective Communication: To communicate scientific data through a variety of written and oral methods
  • Career preparation

 

Core Curriculum:


In addition, all students must fulfill the college’s core curriculum  requirements and meet the 128 credit graduation requirement.  The First Year Experience (FYE) Seminar  is a requirement for all first-year students.

Note:


Graduate Physician Assistant Programs may require additional courses not listed above.  Some schools also require hands-on health-care experience.
