Graduate Certificate in Ministry to Latino Catholics

This Graduate Certificate in Ministry to Latino Catholics applies to those who are involved with or interested in pastoral ministry and religious education among Latino Catholics, especially among those communities that self-identity as Latino or Hispanic.

This certificate can be a stepping stone towards the M.A. in Theology or Master of Divinity degrees, as all credits earned may be applied to the degree programs. Faithful to the magisterium, our courses are designed to foster intellectual engagement in the scholarly pursuit of truth.

Program Highlights

  • This program professes fidelity to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the doctrines and heritage of the Roman Catholic Church.
  • The curriciulum provides a theological education for those who seek to serve the needs of the Catholic Church and Society.
  • Students develop an understanding and appreciation of the Catholic faith, with a specific emphasis on the history and cultural diversity and contributions of Latino Catholics in the United States.
  • The certificate contributes to the development of leadership among Latino Catholics within and for the Chruch.
  • This program provides competency in ministry, with an appropriate credential.
  • Completion of the Certificate can be a stepping stone towards a degree.
