Additional Admission Requirements
Students in the Bachelor’s degree programs must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and have completed all general education requirements, as well as the following three major courses before taking any of the graduate courses:
- HA 205 American Health Care Systems or LTC 210 Introduction to Long-Term Care
- HA 330 Health Care Administration
- HA 343 Health Care Financial Management
Minimum Grade
To be eligible for the fast track option, students must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or better. Graduation
The HA courses will simply substitute for undergraduate courses, so students will graduate with a BS when completing all requirements. They will then transfer into the HA with some courses already taken. Additional Notes
Students interested in taking advantage of the Fast Track option should contact their Academic Advisors. Once accepted, students may take a maximum of 12 and a minimum of 3 graduate level credits prior to completion of the Bachelor’s Degree. For graduate level courses, students will pay the graduate tuition rate effective at the time of enrollment. Students must earn a minimum of 3.0 grade point average in Fast Track graduate courses in order to progress to the MHA degree following completion of the Bachelor’s Degree. Students who earn 128 credits may earn a bachelors degree and are not required to continue in the MHA program. Inactive students, once readmitted, are subject to any new program guidelines instituted in their absence. |
