RN to MSN Fast Track Program

The RN to MSN curriculum allows students to more rapidly progress through the BSN and MSN required courses.

Students may apply for the RN to MSN program when they have completed all nursing course requirements through the 300 level, NU 405T and 79 credits in the arts and sciences. Applicants must meet all other MSN admission requirements for full admission. After admission to the RN to MSN option, student’s progress in meeting their undergraduate requirements but substitute graduate level courses for NU 406T, NU 407P and the nursing elective. The maximum number of graduate level credits earned while meeting undergraduate requirements is 9. When all requirements for the BSN are satisfactorily completed students are awarded the BSN degree and continue on with the remaining requirements to earn the MSN degree. The graduate level courses that have been taken while in the BSN portion of the program, will be waived in the MSN program.
