NU 208 - Family Nursing I

Credits: (3 credits - Theory, 2 credits - Clinical)

Guides the student in the application of the nursing process using the Roy Model to meet the needs of the healthy childbearing and childrearing family. The focus is on the normal maternity cycle and on growth and development from birth to adolescence. Clinical experiences take place in day care centers, schools, prenatal, and well-child clinics, and hospital maternity units.

Prerequisite/Corequisite
Prerequisites: NU 190, NU 205, BI 205.
