ED 205 - Science Methods in Elementary Education

Credits: (4 credits)

This course is designed to teach methods and techniques of instructing science in the elementary school. Focus is on designing integrated curriculum units in the major science areas using NSES and MSLR standards. Emphasis is placed on the current science methods research, using hands-on-minds-on learning strategies that aptly incorporates the inquiry process and technology.
