ED 200 - Language Arts Methods + Practicum

Credits: (3 credits)

This course will provide an in-depth study of listening and speaking while emphasizing language acquisition, cognitive development, oral language development, spelling, grammar, vocabulary development, handwriting, lesson planning, formal and informal assessment across the discipline and best practice for the teaching of language arts. Strategies are based on the most recent research.

Prerequisite/Corequisite
Prerequisites: ED 100, EH 112.

Notes
Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate the aquisition of new skills.
