CJ 405 - Criminal Law and Procedure


Credits: (4 credits)

Deals with the area of criminal responsibility, some of its limitations, and certain modifications substantially affecting it. Procedures include prosecutor’s decision to charges, pre-trial procedures, criminal trial and sentencing. Discussion of case flows, current developments and defendant’s legal rights are included.

Prerequisites: CJ 307, CJ 311.
