AT 297 - Special Topics

This course offers an in-depth exploration of current trends and issues in the world of contemporary art, with an emphasis on creative flexibility and innovation. Designed to respond to the evolving landscape of art and culture, students will investigate timely themes through specialized projects, hands-on studio work, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Reflecting the mission of Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and the values of the Sisters of Mercy, this course encourages students to engage thoughtfully with the world around them, using art as a lens to understand and respond to societal changes. Students will foster a deeper understanding of the role of art in contemporary life.
