CH 197 - Special Topics in Chemistry for Inquiry into the Natural World

Credits: 3-4

This Special Topics is specifically designed for non-science students to explore foundational Chemistry concepts while fulfilling the outcomes for the “Inquiry into the Natural World” core requirement. 

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to do the following:

  • Acquire foundational knowledge of the diverse human condition, human society, and the natural world.
  • Develop essential skills in critical thinking and written communication. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to evaluate, acquire and synthesize new information. 
Notes
This course does not count as an elective Biology course for students majoring or minoring in any Science program.
