NP 621 - Primary Care Practicum: Older Adult


This course serves as a companion course to NP 620 - Family Theory: Older Adult  and consists of two components, a clinical practicum (200 - 240 hours with an approved preceptor), and an online seminar.  In this course the student will apply course content from NP 620 to the care of  adults, families and communities in late adulthood, including refining skills in the performance of a comprehensive health status assessment, development of differential diagnoses, planning, health promotion and care management of patients with complex chronic health issues.

Prerequisites - NP 618 and NP 619

NP 620 can be a prerequisite or a corequisite
