CO 208 - Public Relations II


Credits: (4 credits)

Students design, produce, and share video and web-based products.  Special attention is given to social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and RSS feeds.   Students will produce both text-based and video-based projects.

CO 207 - Public Relations I

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will:

 

  • Identify and exploit news and public relations opportunities
  • Produce-in written, video, and online form-effective news releases
  • Choose effective distribution channels
  • Understand and practice professional ethical conduct
  • Appreciate and understand the economic and technical challenges confronting media practitioners
