SL 310 - Senior Hospitality Management

When providing for the needs of seniors, quality of life is equally as important as quality of care.  Concepts of hospitality management and gerontology will be blended in this course and infused into the management of senior living communities.  The transmission of hospitality principles to staff will be emphasized.  Expectations of seniors will be explored, particularly the unique expectations of the consumer-oriented Baby Boomer generation.  This course will prepare leaders in senior living to oversee the provision of services with an emphasis on hospitality.
