PH 310 - Special Topics: Introduction to Philsophy through Film

Movies and television shows often wonderfully illustrate important and profound philosophical issues. In this class, we will learn about the major issues in philosophy not just by reading key texts but also by watching clips, shows, and even entire feature film. Topics include: free will; knowledge; reality; justice; oppression; friendship; redemption; responsibility; science; life and death; and more
