ED 537 - Staff Development in Education


Draws on adult learning theories to provide a context to evaluate staff development models and procedures. The desirability of collaborative goal-setting, supportive feedback, and analytic evaluation are stressed in planning and implementing staff development efforts. Congruence of individual’s development goals with the organization’s long-term planning is stressed.
