TH 211 - Letters of Paul

Credits: (4 credits)

Examines the backgrounds and purposes of the “Pauline” letters. This course treats selected epistles in light of their historical contexts and proposed authorship. It highlights the important themes, issues and methods of argumentation found in Pauline literature. It considers Paul’s impact upon the historical evolution of the Church and the relevance of his theology in the world today.

Prerequisite: TH 100.
