SO 409 - Applied Sociology – Summer Internship

Credits: (1-4 credits)

The human service agency, the personnel assigned to the student, and the number of credits to be awarded must be approved by the Department of Sociology prior to the end of the spring semester preceding the summer experience.

Notes
Students may choose to have an internship experience during the summer of their junior year. The following criteria are used for determining credit: 1. Number of affiliation hours. 2. Readings, field notes, and written assignments. 3. Final paper to integrate theoretical and experimental learning.
