NU 204 - Foundations of Nursing II


Credits: (3 credits - Theory, 2 credits - Clinical)

Guides and assists the student in the application of the nursing process to help individuals met basic human needs using the Roy Adaptation Model. Focuses on assessment, diagnosis and treatment of threats to basic safety using the four Roy modes. Basic care and communication skills are developed and practiced in the Nursing Laboratory, then applied with adults in the clinical practicum.

Prerequisites: NU 190, NU 205.
