EH 225 - Writing Methods in Elementary Education and Practicum


Credits: (4 credits)

The purpose of this course is to provide the teacher with techniques and strategies that focus on developing student writers who can independently and successfully compose from prewriting to publication. The course will provide an in-depth study of effective writing strategies within the framework of the writing process. This critical balance, supported through research, integrates the writing process with the most effective aspects of writing instruction. Additionally, students will develop their personal writing skills.

Prerequisites: EH 112, ED 200.
