CO 207 - Public Relations I


Credits: (4 credits)

This course covers the elements of professional, ethical public relations practice including research, planning, production and evaluation. Special attention is given to news releases, publicity events, and crisis communications. The course emphasizes the ethical practice of public relations, and attention is given to professional codes of conduct.

Notes
Students are required to produce materials for campus publications as part of the course lab com-ponent.
