HA 360 - Introduction to Managed Care

Provides understanding of how managed care creates a medical practice environment filled with rapid and unpredictable change. This course will guide and improve understanding of managed care principles, and provide a working knowledge of the basic structure and behavior of managed care organizations, the delivery system’s organizational responses, the financial arrangements and incentives involved, and the influences on medical practice and service utilization.
