HA 555 - Health Economics


Discusses economics as a basic set of concepts for understanding of public policy issues in health care. The relationships between economic analysis and value judgments underlying different public policies and issues are covered in detail. The course emphasizes development of economic understanding and analytical ability. It also examines public policies appropriate to achieving economic efficiency and equity in the financing and delivery of personal health services.
