NU 321 - Clinical Prevention and Population Management This course focuses on health promotion, disease, and injury prevention across the lifespan at the individual and population levels. Health promotion, disease and injury prevention throughout the lifespan includes assisting individuals families groups, communities, and populations to prepare for and minimize health consequences of emergencies, including mass casualty disasters. The aggregate, community, or population is the unit of nursing care (AACN VII).
