TH 530 - Christology

At the heart of the Christian faith is the conviction that Jesus of Nazareth is the definitive self-revelation of the Triune God and the ultimate salvation of mankind and all created reality. Christology is the branch of theological investigation that studies in a systematic way the mystery of Christ. Based on the Sources of Revelation and the history of Christ, Doctrine and Theology, Christology seeks to understand the person of Christ and his Mission of Revelation and Salvation.
