TH 309d - Special Topics: Wisdom Literature - Bridging the Testaments

This course will explore thetrajectory of Wisdom literature from its Ancient Near Eastern origins through the canons of the Old and New Testaments.  While the majority  of time will be spent on the Wisdom books of the Old Testament itself and how that vision of God inspired the New Testament evangelists, we will also address how Christian spirituality continues the Wisdom tradition today.
