NU 215 - Undergraduate Health Assessment

This course prepares the student to conduct comprehensive health assessments. Emphasis is placed on perfecting techniques for acquiring and interpreting data collected from clients of all ages.  A holistic approach focused on health promotion is used to assess the client’s needs.  This is a hybrid course that is presented over a total of six weeks. The first four weeks are spent online learning course concepts and completing assignments. During week five students come to campus and work with faculty to practice what they have learned and refine their skills in a hands on lab. The final week returns to the online format as students use all the knowledge they have learned during this course to complete a final project.
