ED 526 - Collaborative Independent Study


Enables a student to collaborate with a faculty mentor in pursuing a subject of mutual interest in greater depth than would otherwise be possible. Students will obtain an application form from their advisors on which to state the general purpose and desired goals of their proposed project; the project’s specific focus; the actual activities to be undertaken and their relationship to desired goals; the outcomes or products of those activities; and the assessment means by which outcomes will be evaluated. Eligibility restricted to students having completed at least five M.S.Ed courses, including ED 520; approval by the program director required.
