ED 524 - Instructional Technologies and Applications


Analyzes the advantages and drawbacks for classroom instruction of both traditional and emerging technologies and applications, including print-based, A/V, and the Internet. Both accepted best practices and most frequently asked questions are examined. The course identifies key variables in evaluating and selecting technologies and applications, and their connections to different learning styles and desired outcomes. Students need e-mail availability, Internet access, and some familiarity with current software applications.
