TH 550 - Foundations in Catholic Theology

The course presents a systematic approach to understanding the development and nature of Catholic theology and tradition.  It explores the rich tradition of Roman Catholic dogma and doctrinal development.  Topics treated include Church magisterial authority, models of the Church, Trinitarian theology, the nature and salvific work of Christ, and theology of the sacraments with special emphasis on the Eucharist
